So here I go - jumping on the blogging bandwagon.  Many thanks to my dear Jake for setting this up for me.  Amazing how fast a kid can figure out technology, huh?  What would have taken me an entire weekend to figure out, he can manage in an hour.

I have absolutely nothing of real interest to share today.  I went to what will probably be my last church board meeting this morning and then ran to the grocery store to pick up the necessary items to make a few cakes.  I am testing out recipes that I want to use for Gram's 90th bday open house next weekend.  Today's test is a chocolate cake with hot fudge, strawberries, and whipped cream.  YUM!  Tomorrow I'm going to try out a white cake with lemon filling and lemon icing.  Not so excited about the lemon one, but we can share it at church tomorrow night. :)   Also have to find time to put together the kiddos school binders for the next 2 weeks.  So...guess I should get off of here and get to work.  :)
